it seems to me that if we do not find funding for our teachers to get out of school to attend a regional meeting we are in grave danger of seperating a partnership; for too long HEIs have had conferences wiothout teachers

The new working conditions and PPA time make it even more difficult for teachers to be released from schools. I think that attendance of such meetings should be highlighted in individual action plans and this then gives greater justification for attendance to SMT.
